If not, there are several posts online that reference this fix for resetting the tray icon notifications:īack up the Registry by creating a restore point. I was then able to select it and tell it to always display and then when a backup was running it would appear. I then went into notifications and saw a new Acronis one listed in Windows that was not previously there. To resolve it, I kicked off a full backup so that it was running long enough for me to do this.
Ray, I've had this happen once to me in Windows 10.
